October 2025 - So Much to Celebrate at U Prep! 🍂

The October 2025 edition of U Prep News highlights the incredible momentum happening across the University Prep Schools network — including University Prep Academy, University Prep Art & Design, and University Prep Science & Math.

This month’s issue features stories of academic growth, college readiness, and community pride. Scholars across all grade levels took part in a memorable Count Day celebration, as school leaders and staff joined our Lunch Heroes to make every moment count. High school seniors participated in College Application Month, with on-site admissions and a network-wide College Fair at Wayne State University connecting scholars with more than 45 colleges and universities.

At University Prep Science & Math Middle School, Principal Geoffrey Williams marks his tenth year of leadership with a “Stronger Together” theme focused on data-driven instruction, family partnerships, and scholar success. Scholar reporters also share their own classroom stories and academic goals.

The newsletter also celebrates major milestones, including the Danielle Jackson Building Dedication honoring 18 years of service of U Prep's retired CEO and the Senior Night celebration at Sidney D. Miller Field, where the community came together to recognize scholar-athletes.

From early learning to college preparation, the October issue showcases how University Prep Schools continues to empower future-ready students and celebrate achievements across every campus.
