We’re proud to celebrate DeRick (UPAD High School), Mireya (UPA High School), Ricardo (UPA High School), and Zyana (UPAD High School) on being selected as 2025–2027 Skillman Youth Council Members.

This recognition reflects their leadership, commitment to service, and willingness to use their voices to create meaningful change. As members of the Youth Council, these scholars will help shape conversations, influence decisions, and represent young people across Detroit while building skills that will serve them for years to come.

Thank you to Skillman Foundation for investing in youth leadership, and to the families, educators, and staff who supported each application and helped make this achievement possible.

Congratulations! We can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make.
